Condo Room Dividers: Accent Your Décor and Create a New Room

Whether you own or rent your condominium, adding a permanent wall is often not acceptable, and is, at best, a lot of work & a costly crusade.  When all is said & done, you’ll have created a block in your condominum, impairing the movement of air and natural light through your digs.  If you would like to divide your space into separate zones without the use of permanent walls, you can keep your options open by using condo room dividers as an alternative.  With room dividers & partitions, you do not have to be “married” to the look because the room divider can always be moved.  Of course, there is more permanence involved with hanging and sliding partitions because they move along tracks installed on the ceiling, &, in the case of sliding dividers, on the floor as well.  Separate & rolling dividers are portable and easy to store.

Use dividers, not only to function as temporary walls, but to add decorative pieces to your pad.  The designs of your chosen dividers will complement your decor, & in some cases, offer a focal point for your hut.  They are available in a wide range of designs, conventional to modern, & everything in between.  You can choose wood, metal, glass, plexiglass, or upholstered.  They may be made of fabric, or consist of 1 or more panels.  The options are seemingly perpetual, and every option has its own set of advantages.

Louvered dividers are designed, generally, in a immemorial look, but are simple enough in appearance to be at home in a home with start of the art decor as well.  The benefit of louvered dividers is that they offer privacy, while continuing to allow air & light through.  This is imaginable because of the horizontal slats of wood that are angled downward, preventing the ability to see through it; however, sunlight and air can still flow through.  The Wayborn Arch Top Venetian Room Divider is a white room divider, made up of 3 panels.  It is built of hard wood & features a rounded top.  Louvers cover the panels, top to bottom.  These are working louvers, which can be opened & closed to allow more light & air through.  When opened, there is some visibility.

Hanging dividers hang from tracks that are easily installed on your ceiling.  Paper Rattan Woven Sliding Blinds are a set of four panels that hang in traditional fashion.  This is an ideal set for an open door.  They slide open & closed with the help of the ropes in the track.  For a less conventional option, the  Wave 8-Foot Diamond Crystal Curtain or Room Divider is 8 feet long and 24 inches wide.  It is made of strings of acrylic beads.  It can be hung in a straight line, or in a pattern on the ceiling.  The faceted acrylic beads will throw beautiful light rays across the room.  This hanging partition offers no privacy, but creates a boundary that does not impede the flow of light, nor does it hamper movement, as it does not need to be opened or moved to walk through.
