Your eating habit is a factor in determining your fitness and health. 1. Avoid eating foods that are high in carbohydrates, fat, and sugar. Go for those that have low of these elements. LOW is the key word here. Unless you are on a medically special diet, you cannot have a zero diet on these food types. Your body needs it.

2. Eating foods that are high in fiber is always good. It prevents colon cancer.

3. Choose richly colored fruits and vegetables in yellow or orange for an assurance of anti-oxidant contents.

4. “Eat green leafy vegetables” which is our lesson in grade school, is still a part of our adult life. Choose those with firm leaves with no yellowish tinge of wilting.

5. Grain foods are also rich in fiber and are good appetite suppressants. Eating cereals and oatmeal easily makes you full. Do not eat legumes excessively.

6. Drink non-fat milk and eat other non-dairy products. This gives you the benefits of milk without the fats you do not want to store in your body.

7. Fruits should be a part of your intake and that means daily.

8. The juicy part of your diet is when you have that all-natural juice drink daily. This can be absorbed into your system easily and you’ll notice its effect on your well-being even right after you have drank it. Having it without sugar is advisable.

9. Choose fish low in oil content. Fish is best cooked without frying as frying is the best way of destroying its nutrients.
