I have been a coffee consumer for years . Eventually , I became addicted to it like many people do. I was repeatedly getting headaches, crashing, and I had to start drinking more and more coffee just to feel good throughout the day. Not only did it became bad for my body to have it, it became bad for my bank account as well . I was spending so much money at Starbucks it was silly. After voicing my frustration about having to give up coffee to a friend, she recommended that I begin trying to drink tea.
I was pretty wary about it at first. I had always liked tea, but it was never genuinely substantial to me the way that coffee was . So I began kind of slowly . I started drinking Wild Berry Zinger tea at first, but only once every few days. Then I began drinking Peppermint tea because it really helps your stomach after a meal, so I drank it every night after dinner. Yet, both of those teas were caffiene free and I had never mixed in any sugar or honey to either of them.
Soon I decided that if I wasn’t really going to get the full effect of tea without totally selling out to it. That’s when I started drinking caffiene enriched tea in the morning, and continued with my cup of Peppermint tea , except now with sugar, after dinner. It was not only totally delicious, but it began to become just as substantial , if not more so, as coffee. I started to experiment with different kinds of teas, like Japanese green tea, Genmai Cha tea, and this. I couldn’t conceive how many different kinds of teas there are available, and how great all of them are. I find that I don’t have the unfortunate side effects that I commonly had with coffee. Honestly, I don’t understand why anybody drinks coffee anymore. Make the switch !
